This data may include your email address, public wallet addresses, and transaction details, but only as required to provide services and ensure regulatory compliance. The data collection processes are designed to be transparent, and we ensure that personal information is only used to enhance your user experience or to adhere to legal requirements.
1.2 We primarily use collected data for account management, transaction processing, security measures, and customer support. We may also use your data to inform you about essential updates or for purposes that are directly related to your participation in the GEMtrust network. Be assured that we will never share your personal information with third parties without your explicit consent unless required by law or during the course of a legal process.
2.1 We utilize industry-standard security protocols to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction3. This includes employing measures such as data encryption, secure server infrastructure, and regular security audits to maintain the integrity of our systems and data storage.
2.2 Additionally, our smart contracts and blockchain transactions benefit from the intrinsic security of the blockchain network itself, which is designed to resist fraud and tampering56. Private keys associated with your wallet addresses and user credentials are to be protected by you78, and we are not liable for any loss that arises from your failure to do so.
2.3 Our partners, including those responsible for the custody of gemstones and gemNFTs, are also required to adhere to strict confidentiality and data security standards39. We regularly vet and audit all our partners to ensure they comply with our data protection requirements.
3.1 You have the right to access and control your personal data held by GEMtrust. We have a process that allows you to request information about your stored data, correct inaccuracies, or ask for your data to be deleted, when it is legally and practically possible. 4.2 We have implemented strict measures that include geo-blocking to restrict access to the sale of GEM Tokens to individuals in jurisdictions where it may be prohibited.
All parties involved with the GEMtrust DAO agree to maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information, financial details, and operational methods, except where law or regulation requires disclosure. This obligation remains even if there is a termination of an agreement.
